Day one


You will discover the city Cluj-Napoca which is the capital of Transylvania and also you will discover the traditional Transylvanian cuisine.


We are moving forward on the path of the german heritage,to the two villages in the heart of Transylvania. In Biertan the fortified church was built by the ethnic German Transylvanian Saxon community like also the fortified church in Saschiz . The next attraction is Sighișoara , where Dracula (Vlad the Impaler) was born, the most beautiful and well-preserved inhabited citadel in Europe, being part of UNESCO.


We start the day with another transylvanian village, Viscri also called Prince Charles village in Transylvania. Another stop is Râșnov , an important citadel from the 14th century. The fortress was built by Teutonic Knights as protection against invading Tartars. The last destination is the city of Brașov which is the image of historical and cultural German resplendent with Gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, as well as a wealth of historical attractions.


Nestled at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains in the picturesque town of Sinaia, Peleș Castle is a masterpiece of German new-Renaissance architecture. The first European castle entirely lit by electrical current, considered by many one of the most stunning castles in Europe, which served as the summer residence of the royal family. Pelișor Castle is another castle, part of the same complex in the Art Nouveau style.


Visiting the Bran Castle we will discover the myth of Dracula’s Castle, a national monument and landmark in Romania. The next destination is a German heritage city, Sibiu (Hermannstadt in German) which was the largest and wealthiest of the seven walled citadels built in the 12th century by German settlers known as Transylvanian Saxons.

Hunedoara-Salt Mine Turda-Cluj-Napoca

The Corvin Castle , also known as the Hunyadi Castle or the Hunedoara Castle is a Gothic-Renaissance castle and one of the largest in Europe and the alive legend of Transylvania. We are ending the trip with another stunning sightseeing,the Salt Mine of Turda . A veritable history museum of salt mining over 2,000 years of history and also the top 22 touristic attraction in the whole world.
